Charlie Gray: A Legacy in Art

Charlie Gray: A Legacy In Art was a vibrant watercolor art exhibition and community fundraising event celebrating the life and artistic impact of local artist Charlie Gray. The event brought together artists, collectors, and community members to honor Charlie’s legacy through a carefully curated showcase of his work and the stories that shaped his artistic journey.
The visual identity of the event played a crucial role in capturing its spirit, from the logo to the marketing materials that brought the exhibition to life. Designed with a thoughtful and cohesive approach, the branding reflected both the timeless nature of Charlie Gray’s watercolors and his deep connection to the community. The final Charlie Gray wordmark was digitized by student intern Helen McGonigle while on capstone internship with us from Fitchburg State. The digitized signature, the wordmark, was an integral piece of this logo and visual identity, and it seamlessly fit into the overall design, creating a polished and memorable event identity.
This exhibition stood as both a tribute and a gathering place for those inspired by Charlie Gray, ensuring that his artistic influence continues to thrive for generations to come!
An expert mixologist, Mixed With Meaning, was present both days of the event offering three non-alcoholic cocktails. I designed three bar top drink signs, one to showcase each beverage.
